Campers of all ages enjoy foam-y fun in our Gaga Ball pit!

Looking for a peaceful, scenic base camp in the Shenandoah Valley from which to explore a multitude of outdoor, historical and cultural resources? Look no farther!  Located just nine miles south of historic downtown Staunton and 15 miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway, we’re surrounded by craft breweries and wineries, antique malls and Civil War sites, hiking trails and spectacular caves. You can drive to the homes of four former U.S. presidents in an hour or less, catch a Shakespearean play in a replica of the Blackfriar’s Playhouse, or stroll through five colonial-era farms tended by costumed reenactors.

Don’t want to venture out much once you’re settled in? Our campground is a great place in which to kick back and relax, with sites dispersed widely enough that you’ll feel like you’re in a much smaller park. We have great wi-fi, digital-cable TV at most sites and one of the biggest “take one, leave one” libraries you’ll find at any campground—but if you’re the more active sort, we have you covered there, too. Cool down with a dip in our pool, try to land a large-mouth bass from our fishing lake, or play in our GaGa Ball pit, on our par-3 disc golf course, or at horseshoes and volleyball. And the fun doesn’t stop after Labor Day - we’ll welcome you for leaf peeping through the fall. Don’t forget about our amazing Halloween blow-outs the last two weekends of October!

Explore this website to learn more about us, including an extensive photo tour of our cabins, which range from the rustic to the deluxe. We’ve posted everything we think you might want to know, including our rates, a campground map, deposit and refund information and a schedule of upcoming events; you can also book a spot directly from the site, at an additional charge, or call us at 540 / 337-3920 to speak with one of our friendly reservations clerks today.

Oh, and one more thing: we’re open year ’round! Which means you’re welcome any time, 365 days a year—just make sure to pack for the weather.
