VISITORS: Please have all visitors register at the office upon arrival whether in your vehicle or theirs. Fees are charged. Campers are responsible for their guests. Visitors hours are 9 AM till 10 PM. No visitors are admitted after 9 PM Visitor parking is provided in separate areas, please ask your visitors not to park on the grass or another site. Visitor parking is provided next to the office. Visitors are any persons not registered with your party upon check-in.
VEHICLES: Only one camping unit and one vehicle per site. Additional vehicles must park in the designated parking areas and pay additional fees. Please do not park on the grass or on other sites. No washing of RV's or vehicles within park. Our water supply can become critical during peak demand. Please no: vehicle maintenance, driving over 5 MPH, creating dust, unlicensed drivers, motorbikes, or unnecessary driving within the park.
CHECKIN/CHECKOUT Checkin/checkout time is 12:00 noon. Late checkout (6 PM) and early check in (9 AM) is available if arranged in advance. Fees apply. Rental Units check-in time is 3PM and check out is 12 Noon.
QUIET HOURS: 10 PM to 8 AM. Do enjoy yourself, but not at the expense of others. If your neighbor is too noisy, tell him about it nicely. If that doesn't work, tell us about it nicely. Children are asked to be at their sites by 10 PM. For safety sake, please ride bicycles in daylight only.
SECURITY: Please display your parking pass on mirror. For your security, all vehicles without a pass will be stopped.
FIRES & FIREWOOD: Firewood can be purchased at the store. Our trees are precious to us and our future. DO NOT CUT or CHOP ANY TREE, DEAD OR ALIVE. No gathering of firewood. $100 fine for any damage to trees. Make fires only inside the firerings. DO NOT MOVE FIRERINGS.
PICNIC TABLES: Please do not remove them from their sites. No grills or hibachis on tables.
GRAY WATER: Virginia State Law prohibits the drainage of sink or shower water onto the ground. Use a sewer donut when at sewer sites. No draining of tanks into an uncovered, unsealed container. Use an RV dump hose at the dumping station.
PETS: Must be kept on a leash anytime they are outside your camper, even if you are with them. Please do not leave your pets unattended. Please be considerate of your fellow campers and travel prepared for "accidents" while walking your dog. Pet litter must be cleaned up immediately. Please do not allow your pets into the bathhouse, playground, or pool areas.
TRASH: The trash dumpster is located at the exit to the park. On-Site trash pick-up is between 10:00 am and 11:00 am. Please do not put trash out the night before since it will attract unwanted wildlife.
DAMAGE: Damage to the grounds is your responsibility. Please remember that outdoor carpets kill the grass they cover in a matter of hours, please do not cover the grass. Please inform the office of any defective equipment you may find in the campground.
ALCOHOL: State regulations provide for the quiet consumption of alcohol on your site only.
DISHES: May be washed on the upper level next to the ladies room and in the laundry at the lower bathhouse. Do not wash dishes in the bathrooms.
BATHHOUSES: Please escort children under 10 while at the bathhouse. We pride ourselves on clean bathrooms, please help us out by observing the "closed for cleaning" schedule. One bathhouse remains open when one is closed. Please pick up after yourself.
POOL: Hours are 10 AM to 8 PM. Pool rules are posted on the fence. Please; no cut-offs in the pool. Health department regulations require that children in diapers not be allowed in the pool.
LAKE & WILDLIFE: The lake is for fishing only, no boating or swimming There is no fishing license required but we ask that any fish caught are used for your personal consumption only, or returned immediately to the pond. Please do not allow children to chase or throw objects at the ducks. Harming or antagonizing any of our wildlife will not be tolerated.
CLOTHESLINES: Please do not use clotheslines. Dryers are located at each laundry.
FIREARMS OR FIREWORKS: The display or use of guns or fireworks are not allowed.
