FRONT DESK CLERK

Our front desk clerks are the first point of contacts for our campers, so a pleasant phone voice and attitude are a must. These are seasonal positions that end in November, but we can work with part time or full time availability.

This position involves a variety of different tasks, including:

  • taking reservations and payments by phone and in person
  • checking in campers when they arrive at the park
  • helping campers to select the correct type of site for their dates of stay, type of rig, and requested hook-ups
  • scheduling sewer pump-outs
  • selling and restocking items in our camp store
  • delivering fire wood to camp sites
  • escorting campers to their sites and helping them to get situated correctly if necessary
  • visiting campsites to alert campers to park rules they may not be following
  • pumping LP gas
  • help with running activities for children and adults as needed
  • cleaning of camp store and public areas
  • heavy use of computer, printer, calculator, photocopier, and telephone

Successful candidates for this position will:

  • be available evenings, weekends, and holidays as these are our busiest times
  • have basic computer skills and be able to use Windows
  • be pleasant and personable even under pressure
  • can lift and carry 25 - 30 pounds repeatedly throughout the day
  • have a valid driver's license
  • working knowledge of camping helpful but not necessary as we will train you
  • be on time and capable of taking direction

 

housekeeper

Our housekeepers are responsible for keeping the park beautiful! Their hard work is commented on by many of our campers. These part-time positions are seasonal and end in November/early December.

The tasks for this position include:

  • cleaning campground lodgings in a timely fashion, allowing guests to check-in on time
  • cleaning bathhouses at least once daily (more during peak season and holidays)
  • cleaning public buildings
  • making beds in lodgings
  • sweeping, mopping, dusting, scrubbing, and polishing as needed
  • use of checklists to make sure your work is correct and complete
  • safe use of appropriate cleaning procedures and products
  • picking up litter as needed
  • helping lead activities for children and adults on weekends and cleaning up afterwards
  • answering questions asked by guests when possible and referring guests to an appropriate employee when necessary

Successful candidates for this position will:

  • be available during the day, holidays, and weekends as these are our busiest times and therefore non-negotiable
  • be able to bend, stoop, walk safely over uneven ground, and climb bunk ladders
  • be able to lift and carry 30 pounds repeatedly throughout the day
  • have a valid driver's license
  • be on time and capable of taking direction

 

Maintenance

Our maintenance workers primarily help with weed-eating and mowing during our peak season, but they also help with keeping things running the way they're supposed to.

The tasks for this position include:

  • weed-eating
  • push-mowing
  • picking up litter as needed
  • other duties as assigned

Successful candidates for this position will:

  • be available during the day, holidays, and weekends as needed
  • be able to bend, stoop, and walk safely over uneven ground
  • be able to lift and carry 30 pounds repeatedly throughout the day
  • have a valid driver's license
  • be on time and capable of taking direction

 

Utility worker

We are currently seeking one full-time utility worker to handle the following tasks:

  • gardening, to include weeding, planting, and watering
  • light maintenance, to include painting, scraping, and power-washing
  • picking up litter as needed
  • other duties as assigned

Successful candidates for this position will:

  • be available during the day, holidays, and weekends as needed
  • be able to bend, stoop, and walk safely over uneven ground
  • be able to lift and carry 30 pounds repeatedly throughout the day
  • have a valid driver's license
  • be on time and capable of taking direction

 

Workampers

We are not currently seeking workampers for our 2017 or 2018 seasons.
